Company History

1999: IMPRO US begins as the USA distributor for Impro Technologies, and one of the earliest pioneers for RFID technology. Notable successes include key accounts such as GBA, Disney and Conoco Phillips.

2007: Amano acquires IMPRO US to add to its portfolio of parking and time/attendance solutions.

2012: NEXUS220 is released with a migration path for AMANONET.

2014: Sales and distribution expands into Canada.

2016: OMNIA is release with migration path.

2020: Amano sells their security division. Business operates with a renewed focus on growing its dealer network.

2023: Rebranded at PMT Security including updated vision and objectives.

2024: PMT Security became the North American distributor for CATHEXISVISION a video management platform.

2025: PMT Security became a North American distributor for a EV Track visitor management platform.
